This practical workshop aims to enhance your ability to defend council against litigation brought by an employee in a court or tribunal, through improved capability to communicate (verbal and written) in a court-safe manner.

There is also 30 minutes pre-course reading of two case studies, it is essential you complete this before the training.

Writing effectively to employees, unions, solicitors and doctors about complex matters is typically honed over many years of experience. In this workshop, you will learn the tricks of the trade drawn from interviews with a Local Government NSW senior industrial officer, a trade union industrial officer, highly experienced HR managers and an employment lawyer.

Principles of procedural fairness and natural justice are interwoven with validated practical suggestions for you to take away and use immediately.
