Formerly the Excellence in the Environment Awards, the newly revitalised event offers a fresh and engaging experience for environmental professionals and local government leaders.
The morning will begin with two concurrent learning sessions featuring best-practice council projects and networking sessions. The day will conclude with the celebratory lunch and awards ceremony.

Cancellation policy and enquiries Should you be unable to attend, once registered, a substitute from your council is welcome to attend in your place at no additional charge. All cancellations and amendments must be advised in writing to [email protected]. Cancellations dated after Wednesday 12 November 2025 will incur a cancellation fee of $145. No refunds will be made for cancellations advised after Wednesday 26 November 2025.
Photography and videography Please be advised there will be a videographer and photographer onsite to capture footage of the event. This footage may result in imagery/sound of attendees being used for promotional activity included in LGNSW emails, website and social media. If you do not wish to participate, please advise an LGNSW staff member on the day.
