Partner with UTS students on community projects
The LGNSW Workforce Development team invites councils to partner with the Discipline of Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) connecting industry with emerging graduate talent.
Teams of third-year psychology students will independently work on council projects over 10 weeks and provide grounded, practical outputs at the end. UTS Psychology is seeking community-based projects (current or completed) for student teams to apply their skills and gain real-world experience.
There’s still time to get involved. Reach out before COB on Friday 26 June to secure your place.
What’s in it for councils?
- Access emerging talent from UTS Psychology Graduates
- Develop evidence-based communication materials
- Explore and test new ideas out-of-house with low risk
- Student projects supported by UTS Psychology Faculty expertise.
What can students work on?
Projects can be tailored to your needs (please see attached EOI form), including:
- Designing grounded and measurable community surveys
- Creating engagement and communication materials
- Producing concise research on tailored local issues.
