Life After Amalgamation Forum

  • Date:

    16 September - 17 September 2019

  • Location:

    Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific, Terrigal

In 2016, 20 new NSW councils were formed through amalgamations.

Three years later, these councils have made some extraordinary advances. Some challenges remain, however, and there is still some work to be done on harmonising cultures, systems and processes.

This forum, co-hosted by Central Coast Council, will focus on identifying strengths, lessons learned and future needs of amalgamated councils. The forum will include expert speakers and case studies, as well as ample time for workshops and informal discussion.
