Roads Directorate Council Freight Transport Project
The IPWEA (NSW) Roads and Transport Directorate is developing a project on Council Freight Transport Strategies and is inviting people with the relevant expertise and experience to join the project group.
The proposed project objectives are:
- To identify strategies that councils can use to manage and optimise freight on local roads
- To develop useful resources for councils to implement the identified strategies
It is anticipated the project will be carried out within the first half of 2022 with Nathan Skelly (Director Infrastructure and Environmental Services, Liverpool Plains Shire Council) Chairing the project.
