Sixth Annual National Flying-Fox Virtual Forum

LGNSW is sponsoring up to 20 NSW local government registrations for the Sixth Annual National Flying-Fox Forum 2021.

Hosted by Ecosure on 14 September 2021, this year’s forum will be a hybrid event with the option to attend in person at The Sanctuary, Adelaide Zoo, SA or online. Sponsored participants may attend either in person or online. Any travel and accommodation will be at participants' own expense.

The National Flying-Fox Forum is an annual initiative to facilitate a national, coordinated approach to flying-fox conservation and management in Australia.

The 2021 forum will provide up-to-date insight into the management and conservation of flying-foxes and their habitat right across their range. This year's theme is "Camp restoration and species recovery". See the National FF Forum web page for further details.

Applications are open to all NSW councils with a limit of one sponsored place (equivalent to $238.50) per council.

This sponsorship is made possible through the LGNSW Flying-fox Habitat Restoration Program, supported by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
