Lake Macquarie City Council: Designing sustainable energy ecosystems for Council facilities
Lake Macquarie City Council added solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and electric vehicle (EV) charging to their open-air carpark to support the electrification of their fleet.

As well as providing a source of electricity, the PV panels provide important shading. The inclusion of bidirectional charging stations means that the energy stored in the EV batteries can support the council building at peak times.
