Inner West Council: Powering Towards Zero Emissions
Inner West Council is the first Australian council to be 100% divested from fossil fuels, achieving its 100% renewable electricity target three years early.

Council has doubled solar capacity at its own sites and supported the installation of solar at 80 community sites, spanning strata buildings, businesses, homes, and schools.

Inner West has reduced street lighting emissions by 20% and expanded food recycling service for apartments to 1,080 buildings. In parallel, it has established processes to achieve emission reductions in tenders and capital works.

Singleton Council: Singleton's State of the Environment
Singleton’s State of the Environment Report brings together its Sustainability Strategy and Sustainable Future Statement.

With a focus on five key themes, the report presents a snapshot of the changing local environment. It outlines more than 100 environmental indicators, setting a benchmark for future reports. The indicators are also being captured by Singleton’s online reporting system for internal business units to monitor performance.
