Bellingen Shire Council: Cockspur Coral Tree eradication campaign
The large number of invasive plants on the North Coast can overwhelm and confuse communities. Bellingen Shire trialled an eradication campaign focused on a single species, the Cockspur Coral Tree. The project empowered community groups to identify and report the tree, which can dominate waterways. Full media packs and templates for future campaigns were created, including pamphlets, posters, letters and online posts.
