Verbal Judo is a specialised program designed to assist your employees to resolve and manage conflict.
It's no longer enough to be good at what you do. You have to look good, sound good or it's no good.
Verbal Judo is one of the most powerful, successful and internationally recognised communications training resources. Helping individuals to resolve and manage conflict using conversation. Improving professionalism, decreasing complaints and staff stress, and increasing safety in your workplace.
Teach your frontline people the skills to confidently deal with difficult and aggressive situations. This program teaches a set of specific behaviours and tactics with which staff can redirect hostile or aggressive behaviour of others, and generate voluntary compliance.
It is aimed at external facing officers, such as customer service officers, librarians, development plan officer - anyone who could be in danger of physical and/or verbal abuse.

Process
The facilitator will use group discussions, council case studies and local government oriented examples, to help you transfer your learning to the workplace.

Local Government NSW has a range of experienced facilitators who use discussions, case studies and local government-oriented examples to help transfer learning to the workplace. Facilitator details will be available prior to the course.
The facilitator is a certified Verbal Judo trainer.
