Highly Commended: Byron Shire Council - Talking Future Tourism, Engagement for the Byron Shire Sustainable Visitation Strategy 2020-2030
This entry shows a comprehensive engagement strategy and the project led to council adopting a more collaborative and consultative approach to consultation across the organisation.
Division C (Metropolitan)
Winner: City of Parramatta Council - Planning a 24-hour city: Parramatta Night City Framework 2020-2024
This innovative project has built capacity across council to facilitate the night-time economy. It described a comprehensive internal and external engagement strategy and improved how council engages with the business community and advocates to state government.
Highly Commended: Liverpool City Council - Liverpool City Centre Public Domain Master Plan
The preparation of the Master Plan demonstrated innovation and a strategic approach to public domain improvements. It is an important project leading to change in the planning and funding of infrastructure. The Master Plan will result in cost savings to council and additional infrastructure provided for the community.
