ePlanning and NSW Planning Portal

Councils in NSW have been working with the NSW government to transition core planning processes to an integrated, online system.

All councils in NSW have been accepting and processing development applications, complying development certificates and post-consent certificates via the NSW Planning Portal since July 2020.

LGNSW and the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) have a Memorandum of Understanding to support collaboration between councils and the state government in the ongoing implementation of the NSW Planning Portal.
