Shared e-scooter trials

For the past two years, Transport for NSW has been working closely with local councils to enable trials of shared e-scooters across NSW. 

Following feedback from councils and stakeholders, TfNSW has improved the Shared E-Scooter Trial Process. The new process removes red tape to make it easier and faster for councils to participate in trials and ensure the safety of e-scooter riders and all road users. 

Almost 300,000 trips on shared e-scooters have taken place in trial sites in NSW.
