Feedback sought on Waste Levy Review and FOGO Mandates

NSW is transitioning to a circular economy, where we minimise waste and keep resources in use for as long as possible.

As part of this transition to a circular economy, the NSW Government is reviewing the waste levy and is proposing to mandate food organics and garden organics recycling.

Two papers have been released to seek feedback from stakeholders and the community.

The Review of NSW Waste Levy: Issues Paper and the Food and Garden Organics Mandates Proposal Paper are now available on the NSW EPA’s Have Your Say website.

We encourage you to provide feedback via the survey or a written submission via email. Public consultation is open until 5pm on Monday 15 July 2024.
