Have your say on the draft NSW Heavy Vehicle Access Policy
The draft NSW Heavy Vehicle Access Policy has been updated based on research and initial consultation with industry and state and local government.
The draft Heavy Vehicle Access Policy sets out five policy pillars to enable a future focused freight network:
- agile and resilient networks
- innovative vehicles
- streamlined access
- telematics and data
- strong partnerships.
The draft Heavy Vehicle Access Policy also sets out:
- proposed strategic access priorities and PBS network opportunities
- proposed networks and access conditions for heavy vehicle classes
- example innovative vehicle design templates

The submission period is now open on the draft NSW Heavy Vehicle Access Policy. You can review the draft Heavy Vehicle Access Policy on TfNSW’s website and submit written feedback through the web form.
