Register for free BOS workshops

The NSW Government is running free training workshops for local government on the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme (BOS).

The workshops will run over two days, covering the biodiversity assessment and approval pathways and Biodiversity Development Assessment Report (BDAR) review.

See available dates below, each workshop will run from 8.30am-4.30pm:

6/7 May 2024: Online only (sold out)

14/15 May 2024: Wagga Wagga (In person)

16/17 May 2024: Queanbeyan (In person)

20/21 May 2024: Dubbo (In person)

23/24 May 2024: Western Sydney/Camden (In person)

11/12 June 2024: Coffs Harbour (In person)

13/14 June 2024: Newcastle (In person)

17/18 June 2024: Wollongong (In person)

20/21 June 2024: Sydney/Parramatta (In person)

2/3 July 2024: Online only

Register

To be eligible to attend, you must:

  • be a local government employee
  • have started or completed the BOS local government workshops e-learning or another BOS training course offered by the Department or
  • have one or more years' experience working with the scheme.
