Deadline extended for EV Destination Charging Grants

EV ownership is growing and EV drivers are now planning their trips around EV charging locations.

Bring new visitors to your area. Attract tourists and locals. Install EV chargers in your LGA and encourage tourism businesses to do the same.

The NSW Government is investing $20 million to assist eligible regional NSW councils and businesses by co-funding up to 75% of the cost to purchase and install EV chargers.

Round 2 applications will now close on Friday 2 August 2024.

• 501 charging plugs are now being installed across regional NSW
• $10 million available for the current funding round to install EV chargers at eligible locations
