National Environmental Education Conference
Over 300 sustainability and education professionals are expected at the AAEE 2023 Biennial Conference - the national conference of the Australian Association for Environmental Education - in Wollongong from 25-27 September.
The Conference is a great opportunity for local government to increase awareness, reach new audiences, and grow credibility with the AAEE community from local, state and federal government agencies, school and tertiary education institutions, non-government organisations, and private companies.
The 2023 Conference has three themes:
- Listening to Country
- Learning together, and
- Transforming the future
While the program is still evolving, confirmed keynote speakers are Professor Tim Flannery (Climate Council) and Dr Miriam Rose Ungenmerr-Baumann, artist and educator. The program will consist of presentations and hands-on workshops from the AAEE community of professional sustainability educators.
Various sponsorship opportunities are available, including sponsorship via a group purchase of tickets for local government staff.
