Parramatta to CBD foreshore active transport path

The NSW Government has announced that planning and early works are now under way for a continuous 91km active transport path, linking Parramatta to the CBD along the Parramatta River and Sydney Harbour foreshore.

The path will weave its way through 18 suburbs from Parramatta Park to the Opera House/Botanical Gardens, allowing cyclists and pedestrians to travel along Sydney’s iconic foreshore.

The path has the ability to encourage healthy and sustainable trips and recreation, improve accessibility for key growth areas along the foreshore, stimulate local economies by generating activity that will support local business and improve access to Sydney’s harbour and river foreshores.
