Feedback sought on Pesticide Use Notification Plan

Transport for NSW has released an update to their Pesticide Use Notification Plan which covers operations across NSW. The plan sets out how Transport for NSW, its agencies and its delivery partners will notify the community of pesticide applications in public places, in accordance with the Pesticides Regulation 2017. The term ‘pesticides’ includes herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, termiticides and vertebrate baits.

Transport for NSW ensures pesticides are applied to public places in a safe, responsible manner, minimising harm to the community or the environment.

Local government authorities are welcomed to view and provide feedback on the plan via the NSW Government website.

The plan will be displayed until 15 December 2022.
