Input Sought for Net Zero Emissions Guidance
The Office of Energy and Climate Change is seeking further council input into Net Zero Emissions (NZE) guidance documents and tools.
Three guidelines have been developed (see below) in order to assist NSW local government practitioners, officers and managers to develop a Net Zero Emissions Strategy or Climate Action Plan for their communities.
This document forms part of the Guidance documents developed for NSW Councils as part of the NSW Government's Net Zero Plan Stage 1: 2020-2030. The Net Zero plan is the foundation for NSW’s action on climate change, with a goal to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
