Scrap Together Grants Now Open
The NSW EPA’s Scrap Together grants are now open for all NSW councils that provide a FOGO service to residents.
Funding of $10,000 is available for each eligible council.
Successful applicants will use the EPA-developed Scrap Together campaign to help teach their households about what can go into the FOGO bin.
A pilot found the campaign increased the amount of food waste in the green lid bin by an average of 10 per cent and reduced contamination and food waste generation.
Applications close at 5pm on 21 December 2021.
For guidelines, application forms and more information visit the Scrap Together Grants webpage.
