LGNSW signs MoU with Landcare NSW

Local Government NSW and Landcare NSW recently signed an MoU to work together to seek positive outcomes for the environment and community.

The partnership will include a bespoke membership opportunity for LGNSW members to support and connect with Landcare in their local region.

Many councils and Landcare networks and groups across NSW already work together to coordinate and collaborate a range of community led, volunteer driven natural resource management activities and projects, and this partnership will enable future opportunities to align and collaborate.

Landcare NSW has existing relationships with a number of LGNSW member councils who host Regional and Local Landcare Coordinators.

Landcare NSW is the peak representative body of community Landcare groups in NSW. Landcare is a community-driven approach to sustainable natural resource management with a focus on improving the resilience of the environment now and into the future.
