Creative Capital grant program opens

Create NSW has opened applications for Round 1 of Minor Works and Equipment Projects through the Creative Capital program.

Grants of between $5,000 to $250,000 are available to fund new infrastructure or to upgrade existing cultural infrastructure to make existing grants fit for purpose. Funding can be used for facilities including museums, theatres, performance spaces, galleries, Aboriginal Cultural Centres, Keeping Places and language centres across NSW

Councils, Joint Organisations of Councils, not-for-profit organisations and Local Aboriginal Land Councils are eligible to apply. Section 355 committees of councils are also eligible to apply if the council executes the funding agreement. Applications can be submitted for projects that will be delivered and provide benefit across multiple LGAs.

Applications close on Tuesday 26 October.
