Call for nominations for Non-Executive Director on Active Super

Expressions of interest are sought from eligible, suitably qualified councillors (of councils that are members of LGNSW) who wish to join the Board of LGSS Pty Ltd (LGSS), the trustee of the Local Government Superannuation Scheme trading as Active Super (Active Super).

A position will become vacant in December 2021 and the appointment will be for a four-year term.

Successful applicants will have demonstrated executive or director experience and/or AICD qualifications and will be expected to have high level commercial acumen and demonstrated capability in business model innovation, cultural change, data analytics and inorganic growth such as strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.

The Active Super Board encourages candidate diversity in respect of age, cultural and geographic background and has an aspirational goal to increase the gender balance of the Board to at least 40 per cent female representation.

Candidates must also satisfy the requirements of the Active Super Fit and Proper Policy.
