PFAS foam regulations online briefing for Councils

The EPA is holding an online briefing for councils on the new Regulation to restrict the use of firefighting foams containing per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The NSW Government recently introduced a ban on the use of PFAS firefighting foams for training and demonstration purposes (now in effect) and the restriction of their use in a range of other circumstances.

The online briefing will provide more information on the Regulation, what it means for Councils, and an opportunity to ask questions.
