Fully funded grants totalling $10 million available for Greater Sydney urban greening, matching contributions are not required

Applications are now open to councils in Greater Sydney for grants to support tree planting, build urban tree canopy and assist in creating cooler suburbs.

Following the successful 2020 round, LGNSW is again partnering with the Department of Planning, Industry and the Environment (DPIE) to administer grants, with up to $10 million available to councils.

Grants are for a minimum of $50,000, projects must be completed by December 2022, and matching contributions are not required.
