Join us for a free webinar update on OLG guidelines for audit, risk and improvement committees, and how service reviews can support council.

LGNSW, in collaboration with KPMG, is hosting a free webinar focussed on the recently adopted OLG guidelines for audit, risk and improvement committees, and how service reviews can support councils.

During this LGNSW webinar, hosted in conjunction with KPMG on 22 March 2023, we'll take a deep dive into the “I" Improvement element of an ARIC committee.

An expert panel from KPMG, ARIC and local councils will combine to discuss the recently amended Guidelines for Risk Management and hear the insights of the panel and their experiences on embracing the "I" in ARIC to drive improvement outcomes, to not only meet regulatory requirements but also achieve positive and value adding outcomes through considered application of the requirements.

Panellists will include.

  • Stephen Horne – Independent ARIC Chair/Member
  • Chloe Morris – Camden Council

There will ample time during the presentation and before closing for discussions and questions.

As councils and joint organisations must comply with the guidelines from 1 July 2024, now is the perfect time to start thinking about how to practically implement these changes to manage resources and policy change.

Duration: One hour (presentation with panel 45 minutes with Q&A for 15 minutes)
Date: March 22 2023
Time: 10am-11am
