Advocacy

Championing local government

Working closely with our members, we provide ongoing advocacy and support on a range of important issues affecting local governments and the communities they serve.

In 2022, we identified eight priority areas where change is needed in State Government policy to deliver for the people of NSW. We continue to advocate strongly for bipartisan support from the NSW Government on these priorities.

We also report on our advocacy and outcomes for each of the resolutions of the LGNSW Annual Conference each year in an Action Report. padlock icon
