This award recognises outstanding initiatives that integrate environmental and sustainable practices into the design, construction or management of community buildings and infrastructure.

The award incorporates, but is not limited to:

• Improving efficiency across a number of resources/consumables (e.g. energy, water, waste, construction materials).
• How well end user’s needs have been considered, such as the engagement of staff and the community, indoor environment quality or adaptability for future needs.
• Improving environmental outcomes.
• Improving resilience of the asset.
