The Hills Shire Council is seeking to engage a highly motivated, energetic strategic thinker to lead our organisation and community through a time of rapid change. 

You will have the passion to drive excellent performance and build organisational capacity to deliver effective outcomes for our customers. You will possess highly developed political acumen and communication skills that will inspire confidence in Council, staff and community. 

To be considered for this role you will be a successful and accomplished senior executive.  You will have proven ability to manage complex budgets, lead and motivate an innovative workforce, develop and deliver long term strategic plans and work closely in partnership with the Mayor, Councillors and community to achieve the organisation’s goals and priorities.  You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and a sound understanding of current Local Government reform and strong knowledge of the Local Government Act 1993 and other relevant legislation.
