LGNSW’s personal and career coaching services provide invaluable guidance and support for employees who are struggling with change, at crossroads in their careers or who lack the confidence to apply for roles they are well capable of performing. Online Training Option – The 7 Steps Careers Program

The 7 Steps Online Careers Program provides comprehensive career management and career transition coaching. Participants will learn how to:
 
  • Confidently manage change
  • Assess what makes them tick
  • Prepare resumes, LinkedIn and marketing communications
  • Explore job search strategies that work
  • Communicate their value during interviews

  • Over 6 hours of training videos and 1 stress management audio download
  • 6 career assessment exercises

Cost: $197 per participant

Personal Coaching Sessions – Career, Leadership, Work-Life

One-on-one coaching is delivered via Skype or phone, or may be conducted at council premises within 35km of the Sydney CBD when 3 or more individual sessions are booked in one day. Topics are tailored to suit individual needs and can include:
 
  • Leading through organisational change
  • Career clarity/career confidence
  • Personal branding/professional image coaching
  • Identifying your true passion and career direction
  • Career transitioning
  • Executive stress management
Cost:
 
  • $300 + GST per session (60 minutes)
  • Package of 4 sessions per individual  -  $1,080 + GST (10% off hourly rate)
  • Package of 8 sessions per individual - $2,160 + GST (15% off hourly rate)
  • 4 or more individuals confirmed in one assignment - $240 + GST (20% off hourly rate)

Provider

LGNSW has partnered with Jane Jackson Careers to offer career development and career transition coaching. Jane Jackson is the author of Navigating Career Crossroads and has worked with more than 1,000 senior staff in government and private sector organisations, including councils in NSW.
