LGNSW Aged and Disability Forum 2018

LGNSW is holding a one-day forum to bring together local council ageing and disability staff and sector support officers.  The forum is an opportunity to develop strategies for councils’ role in service delivery in light of current aged and disability care reforms. The forum is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and NSW Family and Community Services.

The Forum will be facilitated by Jenny Bray from Jenny Bray Training and Consulting and provide:

  • Updates on the aged and disability reforms
  • Case studies and best practice of local councils in aged and disability service provision
  • Scenario planning – preparing for June 2018 and beyond
  • Community development – what does this mean for councils and how to best measure its impact
  • Networking sessions with other councils – what is working and what can we do better.
